ASA Operational Building

The building is the central building of a dumpsite in Gyal, accommodating administrative and social functions.

The company creates the conditions of waste storage and reclamation purely under EU standards, using an electronic monitoring system and biogas utilization. Our aim was that the modern and general concept of environmental protection should be represented by a building that speaks todays language, points forward, resists time and communicates in a versatile manner.

The house expresses openness: we created spaces composed with many glass surfaces.
It stands on the plains in front of a future 40-hectare refuse dump, which is not an impressive neighbourhood, but it will be covered with grass and can be used even for playing golf in fifty years.
