In the scope of an invitation for proposals we received a request to establish 67 apartments on an empty plot located next to the Azúr Hotel in Siófok. The planned development of the area fits into a rotated, right-angled coordinate system, in which the individual, characteristic architectural elements (buildings, green areas, bushes, water surfaces and playgrounds) randomly fill in the available fields in accordance with the functional demands. The buildings are minimalist holiday-home buildings that contain even several apartments, and according to our planning concept, they are integrated into a 12 x 12 metre square module system. This idea makes it possible to keep a track of the varying apartment-size demands during the multi-phase development.
